Food Writing

I'm endlessly fascinated by everything having to do with food, and I try to bring that enthusiasm to my writing. I really enjoy working with chefs and purveyors, and giving the reader insight into the creative culinary process. I write about restaurants, trends, ethnic food, ingredients, chefs and food as part of the travel experience.

"I've worked with Beth over the years on all kinds of articles and projects — she's a real professional, and she brings a genuine love of food, the restaurant business and dining to her work."

Derek Davis, chef/owner Derek's Restaurant, Manayunk

"Beth has a natural curiousity about food that comes through in her writing. And because she travels extensively, she has a broad knowledge of ethnic food and ingredients."

Kiong Banh, chef/owner Twenty Manning, Philadelphia

"Beth is one of my go-to writers for covering Philadelphia's dining scene. I can always count on her to know what's new, what's hot and what's worth writing about. She's also always ready to pitch in on other projects, whether it's writing about haunted Philadelphia or researching the city's pet-friendly places."

Cathy McVey, editor Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation
